Join us for the first ever CBT BBQ Chicken Cookoff!! Great food, family fun and free children's activities!

When: Saturday, October 17th, 2026
Where: CBT Bank- 120 W Arkansas Ave, Vivian, LA 71082

-1 day "non-traditional" competition
-Any heat source allowed
-1 meat comp- Half Chicken (meat provided)
-People's Choice category- any meat dish (team supplied)
-$100 per team to enter (up to 4 members on each team)
-10x10 tent team setup or small trailer

For just $5, patrons will receive a bracelet granting them access to sample each competitor's People's Choice BBQ dish from 11am to 1pm. All teams must compete in People's Choice category.

Schedule:
Cook's Meeting- 7am
People's Choice Tasting- 11am-1pm
Chicken Turn-in- Noon
Awards- 2:30pm

Awards:
Grand Champion- $1000
Second Place- $250
Third Place- $125
Peoples Choice- Custom Award

Proceeds from this event will benefit the North Caddo Medical Center Foundation.
